Fast Lane started in 1994 when owner David Williams sold his first car on consignment out of his garage. Recovering from a devastating hit-and-run motorcycle accident that left him on crutches for 5 years after 27 surgeries, Williams was stuck in St. Louis . A close friend of his lent him the money to start Fast Lane Classic Cars and the rest is history.

Now, 15 years later, Fast Lane Classic Cars has grown to 2 indoor showrooms housing over 170 vehicles. The dealership is run by owners David and Laura Williams, and mascot Shelby -a chocolate lab puppy. The facility boasts a 2 level gift shop overflowing with clothing, memorabilia and books topped off with endless shelves of die cast cars. You will be sure to find souvenirs for every member of the family among this wonderful assortment of cars and collectibles. But don't miss the service center while you are there. Fast Lane's expert technicians will get your classic running right. Detailing and appraisal services are also available.

Fast Lane is distinctive in many ways because it is a combination museum attraction as well as a classic car dealership. Williams gets such a kick out of the way people enjoy his dealership that he claims he will never charge an admission fee. And while every day holds its own excitement at Fast Lane, the community in St. Charles,MO always looks forward to the annual Cobblestone Nationals Car Show held each Memorial Monday. The show is still growing and continually sees over 450 entry cars (not including Williams' cars) with attendance around 10,000 people.

The success of Fast Lane comes mainly from the stunning quality of the vehicles they sell. From Corvettes to Camaros, to motorcycles and Mustangs, they are all available at Fast Lane. The inventory changes daily, but they always have a wide selection of the nation's finest street rods, classics, muscle cars, exotics and much more. Offering only the best possible vehicles, Williams makes sure that every car is extensively gone through before it is offered for sale. Once a car is ready to be displayed, it is listed on Fast Lane's website, www.fastlanecars.com, and the staff at Fast Lane will try to find it a good home. Lookers and buyers at Fast Lane won't have to worry about avoiding pushy salesmen because Williams doesn't run his business that way. His people work together as a team and they have fun with what they do. Every employee-from the salesman who describes a car, to the Giftshop manager who sells a matching keychain, to the office manager who sends out the title work to the customer-plays a part in making the customer feel like family.
