Do you buy classic cars?
Yes, we buy, sell, trade and consign. Our buyers would be more than happy to help you sell your classic car. The first step is to bring your vehicle by for us to see. Unfortunately we cannot make offers on vehicles that we have not been able to drive and see in person. If you are out of state please call and talk to David about getting your vehicle here for us to evaluate.Our customers wouldn't buy our cars without professional assurance of the quality and we consider our own purchases the same.
Do you restore your vintage cars yourself?
Yes and no. Our service department can tackle almost any mechanical job, but we do not have a body or paint shop. If you have a question regarding the repair or restoration of your vehicle you may contact Tyler in our Service Department during normal business hours at 636-940-9969.
Do you service classic cars?

Do you appraise cars?
Yes, we do work with an appraiser. All we ask is 24 hours prior notice. Please click here or call us at 636-940-9969 to schedule an appraisal.
How does your consignment work?
If you have a vehicle you would like to sell, we can usually get you more money for it if you consign the car. Once you bring your car in, our buyer will take it on a test drive. We then put the car up on the rack so our service technicians can assess the under carriage. If we are dealing with a Fast Lane quality car then we are in business! We do not work off of percentages. Instead, you should know what your bottom dollar is and we will make our markup from there. Our monthly consignment fee is $80 to help offset the fees we pay for internet and print advertising of the vehicles.
What are your hours?
We are open daily with the exception of Sunday. Our hours are: Monday 9:30am-7pm , Tuesday thru Thursday 9:30am-6pm , Friday 9:30am-7pm and Saturday 9:30am-5pm . Store hours are Central Standard Time.

Do you have a parts department?
No, our Service Department can help you with questions regarding the repair and maintenance of your vehicle, but we do not stock classic car parts for resale. We do come across miscellaneous parts from time to time though, so if you find yourself in need of new wheels or a car cover, feel free to stop by and take a look at what we have to offer. Can I sit in the cars?
We would love to show you our vehicles and hopefully send you home driving one. If you would like to sit in one of our cars or test drive one of them, please ask a Fast Lane sales representative for assistance.
Do you charge a fee to walk through your showroom?
No, there is no charge to look at our cars.
How do I determine the value of my classic car?
If you have a vehicle you would like to sell but do not know what it is worth, bring it by and our buyer will assess it for you and try to help.If you need a written appraisal for insurance or financing purposes,please click here to schedule an appointment.
What is my trade-in worth?
Unfortunately we cannot quote prices for cars we have not seen. The best way for you to get a fair assessment of your vehicle's worth would be for you to bring it by so our buyer can take a look at it.
Do you accept trades?
Yes, we do accept quality vehicles for trade.
Are all of your cars for sale?
Yes, all of our vehicles are for sale. The State of Missouri now considers us an attraction as well, but we are a classic car dealership. We buy, sell, trade and consign. Click here to search our inventory.
How much do I have to put down to take a car off the market?
We usually ask serious buyers for at least $500 to $1000 to pull a car off the market. Our deposits are non-refundable, so we strongly suggest that you make sure you really want a car before you put a deposit down. A lot of our cars are one-of-a-kind pieces that are in high demand. If you found the car you've been looking for but are waiting for financing to come through, a deposit will guarantee that you get the first shot at buying that vehicle.Cick here to contact a sales representative to place a deposit.
Do you own all of your cars?
No, we don't own all of them. The majority of the cars belong to us, but there are a handful of consigned vehicles. Regardless of who's name is on the title though, we treat every car the same. Whether it be placement on our spinners or featured advertising, we are here to find homes for all of the cars on our lot.
Are your prices negotiable?
No, our prices are non-negotiable. When we take in a new car our staff goes through it to look for its positive and negative points. If there are any imperfections in the vehicle they have already been addressed in regards to pricing. If during the course of a test drive you find something that we have missed, we will either fix it or work with you from there. As far as payment is concerned, a "cash offer" is treated the same as every other payment with no special discount considerations.
Do your cars come with a warranty?
No, our vehicles do not come with any warranties. We do however, take the time to make your car right before it leaves our lot. If something happens that we were not able to predict, let us know and we will do our best to work with you to address any problems. Many times our mechanics can have you back on the road in no time. When you take one of our cars home you become part of the family and we try our best to take care of you.
How do I go about buying a car from you if I live in another state?
We do a lot of business over the internet sight unseen. Our goal is to tell you exactly what we are sending you and eliminate the surprises. If the car has flaws or imperfections we will address those and let you know the true condition of the car you are buying. Who can I go to for classic car insurance?
You can either contact your current auto insurance agent regarding a policy for your classic car, or you can contact companies that specialize in classic automobile insurance. Grundy or Hagerty are two specialty insurance companies that we suggest. Most require you to have your car appraised, but even if it is not required we strongly recommend it.
What do I have to do to test drive a car?
We are more than happy to put serious buyers behind the wheel of one of our cars. When we get the car you've been waiting for we'll do what we can to make it yours. Do you do anything special for large groups?
Yes and no. We welcome groups and tour busses, but we do not have the man power to schedule a guide for you. Groups are more than welcome to roam freely among our showrooms. We do ask that groups consisting of children please call in advance so we can be adequately staffed. Do you buy works-in-progress?
No, all of the vehicles on our lot come to us restored and refinished. We simply do not have the manpower or facilities to undergo restoration work other than mechanical repairs. Contact Tyler in the Service Department with repair questions.
Do you sell project cars?
No, because we don't buy cars that need extensive restoration or repair, we don't sell cars in that condition. The most our vehicles ever need is a good detail and some minor mechanical tweaking. Click here for a full list of our inventory.
I have a car to sell but it is not running. Will you come to me?
No, we don't usually purchase cars on location because we don't have the manpower for it, however, every case is different. Please contact David for vehicle purchasing information.
I want my car appraised but I want you to come to me. Will you travel?
Yes, but in addition to our usual appraisal fee we charge for our appraiser's travel time. Rates vary by distance, so click here to request and appraisal and a travel quote.
Will you find me a car if I know what kind I want?

How old does a car have to be to be considered a classic?
Usually a vehicle has to be 20+ years old to be considered a classic. Our inventory is composed of a healthy mix of cars to accommodate everyone's taste. Click here to view our car inventory.

Do you buy back cars you sell?
Yes, if your car is in the same condition it was in when we owned it then we would love to have the first shot at buying it back from you. While other cars depreciate the minute you leave the lot, Fast Lane cars hold their value well if properly taken care of. We would love to buy back your car if you're ready to try out another classic.
Can you appraise my car if it has been wrecked?

Why can't I find a die cast model of my car?
Unfortunately they just don't make models of every car produced, and we are unable to special order models. However we do have a large stock of 1:18 scale die cast and 1:24 scale cars. If you have a specific model you are looking for please email the Gift shop and we will check our inventory.
